DUO.. Magazine

For my final project from my time at university I created the magazine 'DUO..' which explores student relationships. I intimately interviewed three couples for my first edition and photographed them. Using my skills of art direction, photography and styling this magazine encapsulates everything I have learnt at university. My objective was to develop a magazine that offers a valuable and relatable resource for all students, regardless of their background, to gain insights into the experiences of their peers regarding romantic and physical relationships. In my view, it is crucial for students to realise that the highs and lows of relationships are universal, and knowing that their peers share similar experiences can help reduce feelings of insecurity. To achieve this, I adopted a personal and intimate approach in my interviews with friends, which mirrors the intimacy inherent in relationships. My hope is that this approach resonates with university students and provides them with a deeper understanding of the complexities of relationships.
